long day of problems and major headaches. So

to answer...but really it isn't.

The other day I was thinking back over some of the many
questions that have been emailed to me...along with a
few flamers as well.
The flames are usually along the lines of:
"Of course so and so can make thousands of dollars in a
few days, or whenever a new product comes out...they have
thousands of subscribers and get thousands of visitors to
their websites!
I don't have either of these, so how can *I* make this much
money?!"
The questions usually come in as something similar to:
"I just can't figure out how to make money from my website!
I've joined affiliate programs with high commissions, and
I've put up banners but nobody clicks on them!"
Thinking about these emails I realized that there's a
problem here (beyond the fact that you aren't making as
much money as you would like.)
Basically the problem is that there are people out there
that are making a whole lot of money, and a whole lot of
people that are making little or no money.
I'm sure you are saying "Duh!," but what I'd like you to
realize is that there is a major perception problem on
the Internet.
Everyone knows that the guys with big subscriber lists and
lots of traffic can make money, but they want to know how
to make money without these things.
Why?
In some cases this is because they don't want to take the
time and go through the effort involved in getting more
traffic and building a large subscriber list.
In other cases they simply are going about it in the wrong
way.
This is understandable, but it also explains why so many
people are not making much money.
No matter how many ebooks and training courses you read, or
ezines you subscribe to, or how many websites you visit...
the core requirements to making money online are:
Subscribers and/or traffic.
The more you can get of these the more money you can make.
Its a numbers game, plain and simple.

Scroll down through the list and find a subject that

4. Get a notepad and a pen (or pencil) and read through

you read through take notes on ideas presented and

subscribers, etc. Actually visit the website you are
reading about and try to figure out how they are
implementing these strategies.
5. Read through your notes and compare them either to
your existing efforts, or to what you have planned
for your future business. If you don't have any
plans yet, use your notes as your outline and start
putting your ideas on paper. DO THIS NOW while the
ideas are still fresh in your mind!
6. When you have your plan written down, take that and
your notes and put them aside for a few days. Don't
even look at them during this time. I want you to
forget what ideas you have at this moment, so make
sure you take good notes in the above step!
7. After a few days, login to the website again and go
to the Archives. This time find another site topic
that you are somewhat interested in and follow steps
4 and 5 again.
8. Once you have completed this review, take out your
notes from the first session and compare the two.
Are there any similarities in the methods these
two sites used? Were any of your inspirations the
same as those from the first review?
9. On a new page of paper write down the ideas that
are similar and give you inspiration. After you
have done this take a few days and read through
some of the other case studys, and even read the
Site Review Archives.
10. Compile the separate notes and ideas into one plan
that can be implemented one step at at time, and
then GET STARTED!
Apply what you have learned and the ideas that you've
gathered from these reviews to your existing website,
or use them as the template to get your website started.
The longer you put this off the longer it will be before
you start making any serious money online.
